Learn the Portuguese language with our popular 8 week Portuguese course. This course is intended for students with no prior knowledge of Portuguese. You will learn how to communicate in Portuguese in everyday situations, through written and oral exercises, role-playing and multimedia.

Course outline: This course will include greetings and farewells, asking and providing personal information, ordering food and drinks, asking for information, requesting and giving directions, conjugation of most common regular and irregular verbs and important aspects of Brazilian culture.

Learning goals: On completion of the course learners will be able to introduce him/herself to a Portuguese speaker and exchange greetings; pronounce Portuguese accurately; construct sentences using the present, past and future tenses; be able to ask questions about travel routes and timetables; ask directions and understand the response; conjugate a range of regular and irregular verbs in the present, past and future tenses.

Free course materials: Beginners Portuguese course book, and access to our extensive multimedia library.

Duration: Each course is made of 8 x 1 1/2 hour classes.

Streams: Classes are limited to 10 students.

Monday 17th January 6.00-7.30pm
Wednesday 3 February 6.00-7.30pm

Price: $150 or $140 (students). Group discount of $10 per person for groups of 4 or more.
