Italian Food Discovery Day Tour with Raffaela Delmonte

Join Italian food diva Raffaela Delmonte along with Finding Flavour and immerse yourself in a day of shopping for and eating Italian food.

Our day will start with a market visit where Raffaela will show us some of the ingredients used in Italian cooking. During morning coffee Raffaela gives us a brief overview of Italian cuisine. Then she will guide us through a specialist food shop, telling us about some of the Italian products in-store. We will be treated to lunch in her home where Raffaela will do a short cooking demonstration using fresh seasonal ingredients. We will also enjoy a tasting of Italian wines with lunch. Our day concludes with some refreshing authentic gelato at a bustling artisan gelato shop.

This is a premium full-day tour and includes hosting by Raffaela, morning coffee, tastings, lunch and wine tasting and an information pack to take home.

About Raffaela: Raffaela was born in Italy and has lived in NZ for many years. She runs her own Italian cooking classes and other food events, and is a founder of the Slow Food Movement in Auckland.
