Come visit this historic building which played such an important role at the beginning of the Waikato War in September 1863.

Learn some local history about what happened then from both sides and what happened to the early settler families who stayed on, many of whom have descendants living in the area.

This will be the final event for Franklin's Heritage Week which starts on 17th September.
