Come and have a look at our young and local talents! Students from six Waikato Schools, Rototuna, Marian, Knighton, Whitikahu, Te Wharekura o Kaokaoroa o Patetere- Putaruru, and Te Awamutu Intermediate, submitted their rugby art work to Arts Waikato where a final 32 works were chosen to be framed for Uzone to coincide with the exhibition Red, Yellow, (All) Black - A Local Look at Our National Game. The work has been judged by local rugby celebrities and prizes awarded to their favourite 8 art pieces.
Students were asked to make their visual art work reflect a sports theme and to use the opportunity to celebrate the importance of both the arts and sport in the Waikato. All of the work submitted is on show.
