All members of Harvey Knows A Killer attended Western Springs Collage, entering the Smoke-free Rock-quest in 2005 they made the regional finals.

From there they have been gigging around the Auckland pub/bar scene successfully for 5 years. playing bars such as Kings Arms, Dogs Bollocks, Thirsty Dog, Kingslander, Whammy, Khuja to name a few.

Recently opening for nationally respected alternative rock act The Adults, Harvey have gathered a large following, filling venues they play at. Harvey has polished there act to the utmost purist form and is a truly entertaining act. In March they played AUT's City and North Shore orientations and in June 2010 they won the Waikato Ultimate Band Competition.

These young musicians believe in the yesteryear in their music and in who they are. With such brilliant inspirations as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the family stone and heavy dosages of the Doors to name a few.

They attract a crowd of a wider age difference which can be very interesting, they have the ballsy southern fried rock blues numbers, without leaving the swampy funk behind. This ensures there at ease with all listening ears and dancing feet.

To best describe us, we take one home grown rhythm Machine, groove and layer that over a smokey organ and the soul funk pipes of a preacher, we then serve it red hot with a pair of southern fried guitars and our own honey mellowed harmonies

Hungry..?

Feed the craving with… Harvey Knows A Killer!

Performance will be held in Bodega's Burgundy Room.
