Nelson is not only famous as the sunshine capital of New Zealand, its also the home of the South Island's most well known and colourful punk band, Gripper. The self-proclaimned perveyors of "ugly punk rock" have teamed up with Napier veterens (and the somewhat prettier) Vicious Rumour for a 12" Split record release party (yes, actual old school vinyl).

This is the first show in Auckland for Gripper since the excellent GBH support last year, and unfortunately this will be Vicious Rumours last ever show so its gonna be huge.

With local support bands Last Rockers and Malevolence.
