From Bizet to Broadway.

Mike Nettman, John Drake and Carol Maher will start with the Habanera from Carmen, and, with our guests, perform Broadway favourites mixed with some old nostalgic love songs.

Many of our favourites have been arranged by noted Matt Dennis (he wrote Angel Eyes) for Frank Sinatra. You will smile at the ones you recognise and have wanted to hear for a long time: Always, When I Grow Too Old to Dream, music from Phantom, With a Song in My Heart, Can't Help Lovin That Man of Mine, If I Loved You and All Things You Are.

When the midday lunchtime hooter sounds, switch the screensaver on, grab a bite to eat, switch the cell phone off and head on down to the Turner Centre’s Fortnightly Friday Midday Music treat.
