Learn to take photos with simple handmade pinhole cameras! Discover the magic of this simple photography technique with professional photographers Alistair McAra and Deirdra Sullivan.
Learn about the fascinating theory of the pinhole camera (also called camera obscura), take pictures with a variety of different cameras and develop them in a darkroom. Take away your photos and some simple resources to build your very own camera obscura at the end of the day.
All equipment is provided, no experience needed. Bring your lunch, and a notebook. You will also see the exhibition "Light & Truth" and sit in the giant walk-in camera obscura.
Children (ages 12 - 16) must be accompanied by a paying adult.
