The After Disaster Survival Trust is a new community-based national charity. Our vision is to inspire, empower and enable all New Zealanders to prepare for emergencies.
We are calling a public meeting that will be fun, motivational, interactive and informative.
Our target audience are motivated, community-minded people interested in:
- reducing the suffering of victims of New Zealand disasters
- ensuring, as far as possible, that children, elderly people, employees and our loved ones are cared for before, during and after emergencies of every kind
- promoting social responsibility
- creating resilient communities
- meeting and interacting with other like-minded, caring people
Ideas will be shared, conversations generated and community-driven solutions will be created. What we are creating is the possibility of New Zealand becoming one of the best prepared countries in the world, with every individual as ready as possible to deal with any emergency!
There are limited seats available so please RSVP (as soon as possible) so we can acknowledge and confirm your place at the meeting. If you are unable to attend we will record your interest and contact you at a later date.
