Sarah Harpur is going to be performing this show in Adelaide very soon and would like you to be her warm up - to prevent pulling a comedic hamstring.
Parents often give their children a pet to teach them about life and death. But what happens when, instead of one pet, you have dozens? Does that make you wiser, or insane?
Sarah is originally from a small isolated farm in Dannevirke where her faithful pets were her best friends – it’s a tough life lesson to see your friends eat each other. It's even harder to eat them yourself.
Cat abortion. Dog suicide. Racist rabbit. Eating your mates. Relax, it's all covered.
You've read the blog, now see her show! Sarah Harpur is sometimes brilliant, often silly, always bizarre.
Wellington comic, Sarah Harpur, began her career in stand up in 2008. Tackling the tough subjects, like cannibalism and cat abortion, she quickly made her mark on the local comedy scene. She has performed across New Zealand Fringe Festivals, as well as the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringes.
Sarah is also a budding rock god who will delight meat eaters and vegans alike with her musical numbers.
Gold coin donation would be appreciated.
