Dave Howe’s house is furnished with horseshoes. Table legs, chairs, and ornaments have been crafted from them - including a life-sized model of Mark Todd’s mount, Ready Teddy! The now retired equine chiropodist spends his days creating replica firearms, guitars, guns – even a full-sized western saddle – from horseshoes. A small selection of his work goes on show to celebrate extraordinary art made from ordinary objects.

Entry to the Rotorua Museum is free for Rotorua residents (with ID).

Admission prices from 1 October 2010 - 19 August 2011:
Adult: $12.50
Child (5-18yrs): $5.50

Small family (1 adult & up to 3 children): $17
