Beginner's Guide to Screenwriting

Interested in writing for the big screen? Beginner’s Guide is an intensive evening course that demystifies the basics of screenwriting.

Over four sessions, tutor Kathryn Burnett will take participants through the how and why of writing for film including premise, plot, story structure, formatting, dialogue, character and the visual grammar of screenplays.

Kathryn is a screenwriter, playwright, lecturer and script consultant who has worked in the film and television industry for over 16 years. She has designed this course specifically for beginners and anyone who feels like a quick refresher.

When: 6.30pm - 8.30pm Thursday nights. Course starts 24 February 2011 (for 4 weeks).
