The 1927 silent epic by New Zealand film pioneer Rudall Hayward was restored by the Film Archive and will be presented with piano accompaniment by William Green.
“£70,000 and 300 lives being lost in fruitless efforts to capture him. He was finally pardoned in 1888 by Act of Parliament. See this amazing film! More fascinating than 'The Kelly Gang'."
“Thrilling pages from the life story of the greatest of all outlaws and bushrangers. Te Kooti, the man British forces chased for 15 years.”
"New Zealand’s greatest production"
