Auckland Council’s 2011 Music in Parks programme runs from January to April 2011. It features over 20 concerts comprising four different series, each with its own unique ethos.
Opening this afternoon's concert is the salty but sweet Kina. Then for the main course digest an arresting assortment of bop, blues, Latin jazz and funk from Go Blow, led by Chris Watts on tenor and soprano saxophone, Neil Watson on guitar, Peter Scott on bass and Ron Samsom on drums.
