A collection of Aotearoa's hottest acts join together on the green of a revamped Trafalgar Park,
outdoors in sunny Nelson for a celebration of summer sounds. The inaugural Soundwavez: from heavy dubsteppin' to infectious grooves to world music to dirty rock n soul to roots reggae to scratched-up breakbeat to pumpin' drum n bass... Get your groove on the green & spend the day with a picnic, friends & family... All ages welcome, under 12 free, tickets only $29 if you get in early... Bring ID if you want to partake of the licenced bars... Loads of food stalls... Wicked sun & bass.

Wicked Draw - Wicked Draw are Nelson's premier dub/reggae/roots live band that have played numerous major outdoor festivals including the Kaikoura Roots Festival, Raglan Roots Festival, Nelson Arts & all of the Phat Festivals. Led by vocalist Lil Jah who was originally from Chch's seminal outfit Dubwise, the band have recorded one album & one EP but are known best for their rocking dancehall inspired live sound.

One Vibe - Led by the original African born vocalist Judah, One Vibe have established a reputation for sweet authentic roots reggae.
