This Saturday the Bay Cities’ Symphonic Band will be present their free ‘Summer Promenade No. 2’ programme. The band will play under the baton of the well experienced John Snowling and Brian Kennedy, and also Joanna Bradnock and Melanie Musther.
The band will play a wide selection of music including marches such as the Dam Busters and On the Quarterdeck, along with Circus Days, Irish Washerwoman, Tijuana Brass in Concert, the ever popular Instant Concert and many more. The trumpet section will be featured in Brasstime, and as a special treat Brooks Kershaw, a Lindisfarne College student, will play Gershwin's "They Can't Take That Away From Me" on alto sax.
So, bring along a chair and your afternoon tea, and join the Bay Cities’ Symphonic band at the Soundshell. Cancelled if wet.
