Kugeltov is a Wellington-based klezmer quartet made up of Robin Perks (violin), Tui Clark (clarinet), Ross Harris (accordion) and Malcolm Struthers (bass). Robin and Malcolm are full time members of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Tui is a busy freelancer, and Ross is one of NZ's leading classical composers.

The group plays with all the energy you would expect from klezmer music but also takes the genre in the direction of chamber music. The repertoire is a mixture of traditional Jewish music and newly composed works by accordionist, Ross Harris. Expect to hear a wide range of styles and tunes - from Ross' Bulgarian Rhythms and Melancolia to classics like Der Heyser Bulgar (The Hot Bulgar) and Hava Nagila. The music is semi-improvised, and tremendous fun played with skill and style.
