Come and experience the rugged landscapes and learn the history of this fabulous place. Usually only accessible by an 8km walk or cycle, this special NZ Historic Places Trust coach trip will take you (nearly!) to the door of the lighthouse. Two pick-up points, one in Wellington and one in Petone. Afterwards, a talk will be held at Antrim House about the care of lighthouses in their extreme environments. N.B. Good fitness required, as there is a 15 minute walk up a steep hill to the lighthouse from the drop-off point
