This market promotes quality, only New Zealand-made crafts whilst providing a comfortable, all weather venue in which crafters can display their wares... and buyers can browse. In close proximity to, and complementing the Howick Village's shops and its Farmers' Market, this market adds to the attractiveness of Howick, where folk can relax at its cafes and restaurants on a Saturday morning.

Souvenirs, jewellery, quilting, Kiwiana, children's clothes, prints by Zad Jabbour, bridal Barbie dolls and gifts suitable for all occasions and ages feature every Saturday morning...as does author Gavin Gosney with his children's book "Sammy Two Shoes and the Bumble Bee". Every month on a regular basis, felting, knitting, children's wooden toys, crochet, puppets, silk flowers, wooden clocks, garden ornaments, decoupage, beaded cross stich embroidery, unique blackboards, crochet, finger puppets, soft toys, Chinese calligraphy...and more...delight visitors to our market who comment on the quality of the crafts and the friendly atmosphere.

For tourists, the uniqueness of our Howick 'Classy Crafts' market can be enriched by visiting the beautiful beaches as well as the Historical Village. 'Classy Crafts' provides gifts and novelties that will invoke the memories of a happy day in an idyllic setting.

The venue for 'Classy Crafts' is 30 Cook Street, Howick, opposite Subway.

You must see the lasered acrylic coasters, clocks, puzzles, picture frames, trophies and engraving on site this weekend....all made by Geoff Cane. Aileen Coleman will be selling her amazing hand puppets, soft dolls, camels and draught stoppers.....and for these cold winter days Sue Roberts has beautifully designed and colourful mohair cardigans. Hand woven bags by Kathryn Potter are as attractive to the eye as they will be to the receivers of such delightful gifts. As always we have quilts, Kiwiana, jewellery of outstanding quality and gifts and souvenirs. Browse in the warmth of our welcoming crafters and inside venue....the heaters will be on.

Have you discovered Bruce Kendall's laser-etched or paua inlaid kauri and rimu woodcrafts at the All Saints' Indoor Craft Market? His beautifully crafted, lightweight products are popular with travellers and with those posting gifts overseas.
Bruce is one of many of the market's craftspeople offering quality New Zealand made handcrafts - stunning bags created from old jeans; appliqued growth-charts; bridal tiaras; ceramic, crystal and paua jewellery; kiwiana; toys and novelties; knitted, sewn and quilted crafts; and much more.
This market is well worth visiting. All stalls are indoors, away from the wind and rain, and vary each week. Some space is still available, so if you're arts and crafts inclined, give convenor Ruth Hammond a call on 535 7513 to enquire about selling your wares.
