The Aces are on fire! 212/2 up after 36. Great one to watch. Vincent made 66 and Tim McIntosh is close on getting his century.

"Game On!" says the weather crystal ball. The teams are out on the field at Colin Maiden Park warming up and set to go as scheduled. The weather is cool and perfect for watching cricket. Forecast looks good so come down and support the Aces. For forecast details look at this link: http://www.metvuw.com/forecast/forecast.php?type=rain&region=nzni&noofdays=7

t's crunch time for the Aces this Wednesday January 9 as they face a sudden-death semi-final meeting with the Otago Volts to see who will face Canterbury in the final on January 13.

The Aces have been in great form in the one day competition but hit a small speed bump in the shape of the Wizards on Sunday when they went down by 41 runs in Christchurch. At the same time the Volts were fighting back against the Knights to set up tomorrow's clash.

So far this season the Aces have faced the Volts twice in one day competition and the honours are even with the Volts winning on home soil in Oamaru and the Aces exacting revenge with a commanding seven wicket win chasing 274 on the back of an unbeaten 121 from opener Tim McIntosh.

This one is set up to be a great match with the Aces looking to make it two finals in a row and the Volts seeking to bounce back after a horror HRV Cup campaign.
