Kamran Khodaverdian biography:
Iranian Kamran Khodaverdian was born in Tehran in 1972. Showing an intense interest in music at an early age his parents enrolled him for piano study under Ardeshir Rohani and Freidon Nasehi, two of Iran's greatest pianists. Later studies included composition and conducting under the tutelage of Farhad Fakhreddini, conductor of the Iranian National Symphonic Orchestra and Music Master of the University of Teheran. Further studies under International Conductor Iradj Sahbai, Music Master at the University of Paris, and Ardeshir Rohani, International Conductor and Pianist, led to Kamran writing music for films, piano and voice and Iran's National Symphonic Orchestra.
Running time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Interval: 20 minutes: refreshments available.
Kamran moved from Iran to NZ and is starting a new life with his wife and brand new daughter. All proceeds will go towards Kamran's studies at the School of Music in Auckland in order to gain NZ recognition.
