“Everything and the kitchen sink” - 30 years of NZ short film 1980-2010.

Restaurateur Luke Dallow has joined forces with film guru Ant Timpson (V48HOURS/ NZFF Programmer) to present Sale St Shorts; a series of cinema-gastronomical excitement at the award winning Sale St Bar in Auckland. Presented in Association with Sky’s Rialto Channel, the series will celebrate thirty years (1980-2010) of the greatest NZ short films ever made.

The show gets underway from Feb 15th, with shorts screening every Tuesday for four weeks. Over 40 shorts will screen in the series beginning with the most successful NZ short of all time Alison Maclean’s creepy and surreal Kitchen Sink (1989) and ending with one of the funniest, Radar’s hilariously dead pan & depraved The Journey (2004). Award winning directors include Harry Sinclair, Taika Cohen, Ellory Elkayem, Jane Shearer, Jason Stutter, Steve Ayson, Jane Campion, Adam Stevens and many, many more.

Limited space - book now for peace of mind.
Time: Arrive from 7pm. Show starts 8.30pm-10.15pm
Tickets: $10 includes one tap beer/house wine (so basically its nearly free entry)
