Throughout the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries Japanese Ukiyo-e artists alongside their normal print production were involved in the creation of erotic prints these are generally known as Shunga. This exhibition of 11 works is a rare chance to view images that still remain officially prohibited in Japan.
