Christchurch South residents are soon to be treated to their very own farmers' market. The new Opawa/St Martins Farmers' Market will be launched on Sunday 13th March (delayed due to the Christchurch earthquake) bringing together local producers and growers selling primarily organic/spray-free produce, freshly baked bread, free-range eggs, fair trade organic coffee, ready to eat delicious snacks and drinks and much more.
Situated next to the Heathcote river next to the Steiner School, come along and catch up with friends at your new local market.
