Southern Cross Band is a popular dance band around Auckland. With a six piece line-up featuring the songbird vocals of Jeannine Beatie, Merle Haggard sound-a-like, Sel Nash. Peter Bayliss on lead guitar and vocals, Bruce King on drums, Keith McIntyre on bass, and Marian Burns just fiddling around.
