The vibrancy of Paris and virtuoso pianist Ewa Kupiec playing Rachmaninov meld together in a concert filled with colour and warmth.

Inspired by film, jazz and Broadway, Maestro Eckehard Stier leads the APO in Bernstein’s atmospheric suite from the iconic Marlon Brando film On the Waterfront, Rachmaninov’s tribute to one of Paganini’s violin works and Gershwin’s exuberant view of Paris, An American in Paris, complete with authentic Parisian taxi horns.
