This seminar focuses on the strategies leaders and managers use to successfully navigate the grey territory of organisational ethics. Increasingly, these ambiguous areas are implicated in crises ranging from the BP oil spill to the financial crash of 2008.
The seminar will interweave ideas about moral perception and moral imagination with insights drawn from shadowing senior leaders grappling with the every-day ethical dilemmas they face. In doing so it highlights the potential of habits, daily practices, and aesthetic engagement as means by which leaders and managers might cultivate the ethical acuity required by our complex and inter-connected world.
RSVP to M.L.Turner@massey.ac.nz or (09) 414 0800 ext. 9539 by or before Wednesday, 26 January 2011.
Due to limited seating, RSVP is essential.
