This is a community prevention and recovery programme for people with, or at risk of, heart and other health problems. The Cardiac Club is an active support group which forms part of the prevention and recovery process following a heart event. It will encourage and support health lifestyle changes, including participation in appropriate physical activity.

These sessions benefit people with heart disease as well as those people with:
- Diabetes;
- High cholesterol;
- Obesity or inactivity;
- Arthritis or any other chronic disease.

One of the greatest benefits of a group such as this is the opportunity to share personal experiences with others that have similar illnesses.
