An amazing day with performances running simultaneously on two different stages, both an indoor and outdoor. We have 12 different schools including intermediate age, participating with up to 40 performances and many times up to 20 children per each performance.
The children’s performances will include kapa haka, Indian, Tongan, Japanese, Polynesian, and Greek Dances. Flippino, Cook Islands, Samoan, Niuean groups and the list goes on to choirs, rock bands, and ukulele group and whatever fun-creative talents might be in store.
Performances, picnicking, fun rides and lots of other YMCA facilitated activities, all the while dining from stalls of PTFA school groups available. A fantastic day for the community, a brilliant day for the kids and a proud day for YMCA at Mt Albert Community and Rec Centre.
