Kiwi cult classic Don’t Let It Get You is a light-hearted comedy with great musical moments. Moving from Sydney to ‘The Rotorua Festival’ the plot centres around a romance between a young drummer and his girl and the hurdles they face to stay together. Made by John O’Shea’s Pacific Films, and starring a young Sir Howard Morrison and Kiri Te Kanawa Don’t Let It Get You can best be described as a tonic film that "...doesn’t let the blues get you. When it finishes, you feel as if the time has gone too fast and you leave the theatre wanting to see it all over again." - Publicity Flyer, Pacific Films Collection
