Described as Billy Connolly's favourite comedian, Scottish funny-man Des McLean will be performing one night of stand up.

Des McLean is a headlining stand up comedian, Sony Award winning radio presenter, actor, TV show host, voice over artist - Comedy legends such as Billy Connolly and Peter Kay love Des. His army of fans throughout Scotland have been delighted by his four comedy CDs, which featured in the HMV Top Ten Charts in the same week and his three top-selling DVDs which just flew off the shelf. Des has taken his amazing comedy talents from New Lanark to New York.

This clip was shot during Des’s sell-out headline show for the Glasgow International Comedy Festival at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow - 3500 in the audience - laughter from start to finish and a standing ovation. The show was picked up by STV and transmitted over their entire Scottish network to critical acclaim. Des McLean is probably Scotland’s best kept secret.
