Chi kung workshop – dragon forms

Explore the healing principles of chi and its unfoldment in the human system. Learn the creative dragon forms over four days. These forms focus on twisting and rising movements that create powerful energy flows in the body which, practised regularly, lead to increased health.

This is a four day workshop exploring the basic forms and concepts of dragon chi kung. The workshop can be attended by anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of chi kung.

The dragon is a supernatural creature and its forms offer a way of bringing all the five elements together. The dragon form is like a super chi kung form that can provide a powerful way to relate to the totality of your chi system. Many of the forms encourage a movement and balance along the core of the body.

The workshop will include – moving from the dan tien, chi awareness, static postures, chi kung breathing, chi kung walks, joint mobilization, being still.

The workshop will be led by Ged Sumner who is a Director of the College of Chi Kung and a professional craniosacral therapist. He has studied with a variety of chi kung teachers and integrates this with his understanding and study of meditation, attachment psychology, shiatsu, Chinese medicine and cranio-sacral therapy approaches. He teaches cranio-sacral therapy internationally.

The College of Elemental Chi Kung has been teaching full chi kung trainings, retreats, workshops and classes for the past 12 years through its network of registered teachers.
