The 55th annual Royal Scottish Country Dance Society NZ Branch Inc. Summer School will be held in Masterton from 28 December 2011 to 5 January 2012. It is expected that over 200 dancers from New Zealand and around the world will attend. The programme includes morning dance classes, and afternoon musicians' course, optional afternoon activities and dancing most evenings. The highlights of the summer school are Hogmanay, the President's Ball, a ceilidh and a fancy dress evening.
