New World Wine & Food Festival

The New World Wine & Food Festival is a celebration of the South Island region's recent acceptance as the New Zealand representative on the prestigious Great Wine Capitals Global Network.

Fifty of the leading wineries from Central Otago, Canterbury, Waipara, Nelson, and Marlborough have been selected to showcase their wines to create a truly unique wine event, and an array of gourmet food exhibitors and restaurants will be on site to provide the perfect complement. 



Wine seminars and cooking displays hosted by industry experts will be a prominent part of the festival, and with live entertainment from some of New Zealand’s leading artists, the New World Wine & Food Festival is great way to start the summer festive season.

General Admission $35

Connoisseur Tickets $57.50
Includes 15 tasting tickets, souvenir wine glass, entry one hour early, exclusive admission to Bob Campbell’s wine tasting seminar and access to all other entertainment, seminars and demonstrations.

VIP Experience - Table of 10 $1500
Includes 10 Connoisseur Tickets, and entrance to the VIP area including a full food and beverage package for the duration of the festival, private hosts and reserved table.

VIP Experience – Single Seat $155
Includes Connoisseur Tickets and entrance to the VIP area including a complimentary bar and continuous food for the duration of the festival. All served in an exclusive and elegant setting within the festival park. Limited to 200 VIP tickets only.

Designated Driver & Under 18’s $25
Includes access to all to all entertainment, seminars and demonstrations. Wristbands and glassware will not be issued with these tickets.

Half Day Admission $25
Entry to the festival after 4pm. Includes 5 wine tasting tickets and a souvenir wine glass and access to all entertainment, seminars and demonstrations.

Children under 12 admitted free with an accompanying adult
