1st international open submission print prize winners show.
The first Art at Wharepuke International Open Printmaking competition was held in 2009/10 and attracted entries from USA, Australia, NZ and Europe. The first prize was awarded jointly to Danielle Creenaune (Australia/Spain) and Carsten Borck (Germany).
This exhibition is the result of a collaboration between the two artists producing a complementary series of 20 prints (10 per artist). Printed in Berlin and Barcelona and titled ‘2010 – 08 – 23’ the work is presented in a boxed portfolio and as wall pieces. Additional works from each artist will also be exhibited.

The deadline for the first stage of selection for the 2nd Art at Wharepuke International Open Submission Print Sow is November 1st. An international judging panel will decide the result of this year's exhibition with the winning artist being awarded a solo show in 2012.
Details for submission are available from http://www.art-in-newzealand.co.nz/artists_opportunities.html
