Join us for a free guided walk as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival 2011.

Your guide is Malcolm Paterson of Ngati Whatua of Tamaki and the Kaipara. Malcolm has written a Master's thesis and a children's book 'The castle in our backyard' about Maungakiekie/One Tree Hill.

Discover the archaeological and cultural significance of this large Maori pa site on this informative walk.

Free walk, available on a Saturday or a Wednesday - suitable for all ages. Walk duration approximately two hours.
