The Park contains a wide range of New Zealand natives and many exotic trees. Some plantings date back over 100 years, with a number of grand specimens throughout the Park. Your expert tree guide is Ewen Cameron, Curator of Botany at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
- Guided Cornwall Hospital Walk - Thursday 27th October
Morning 10am-12pm
The 39th U.S. Army General Hospital was built at Cornwall Park during World War Two, for the American wounded in the Pacific conflict.
