Holidays and special days, like Christmas or anniversaries, can be an especially tough time for those facing the changes, losses and grief of bereavement. Many bereaved people dread them. These times may remind you of how things have changed, and of the people, places or events you’re missing. Memories at this time can be both wonderful and painful. This very practical workshop will give you some helpful ideas and strategies to get through these times. It will include lots of ideas for children and teens as well as adults – because memories matter and grief can be really tough to deal with. It will also assist the work of support professionals and community support workers.
