Timua te Kowhai is one of New Zealand’s most respected and extremely popular Maori soprano and opera singers. She is a Rotorua resident, but her stellar career has taken her around the world. She has represented New Zealand and performed for world leaders, officials and more recently performed for HRH Prince William at the Christchurch Memorial Service earlier this year.

Timua te Kowhai will be accompanied by emerging artists Declan Cudd, a talented vocalist, and the Rotorua String Ensemble (under the direction of Jim Mcgregor).

For this event we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
