This December the team at the Taste Events Company are really getting into the Christmas spirit. We are working with the Christchurch City Mission on a Christmas Appeal based at Riccarton House and Bush in our new marquee. For the month of December we have a real Christmas tree, and are asking the public to donate toys, Christmas presents and food items which can be left under the tree. The marquee will be open every day from 11am – 3pm during the Riccarton House Bistro lunch service hours.

The idea behind the appeal is to offer the public a place to be able to donate toys and food items, which will be collected and donated to the City Mission. Stallholders from the Christchurch Farmers Market will also be able to donate produce after each market on Saturdays.

The appeal runs from the 1st December to the 23rd December 2011.
