Celebrate Somalia & Save Lives is a fundraising extravagnza organised by the Wellington Somali Council in partnership with Volunteer Wellington and UNICEF NZ. It is a celebration of Somali food, music, art, dance and culture! The event takes place on Election Day, and the good news is that you can vote and attend the fundraiser all under the same roof! All proceeds raised go to UNICEF New Zealand's famine relief efforts in Somalia.

This is Wellington's opportunity to be involved in something tangible for the tragedy unfolding in the horn of Africa. Delight in the beauty, aroma, creativity and cuisine that is Somalia. Celebrate Somalia & Save Lives!
