A celebrated contemporary dance/theatre work from Maria Dabrowska, created with dancers Mariana Rinaldi, Alex Leonhartsberger, director Jo Randerson, and composer Eden Mulholland. Carnival Hound looks at the distorted realities and long shadows of human politics in an environment of war. All three performers communicate using an open palette of materials, props, costumes, text, and movement aesthetics.
Hailed as “a theatrical, collaborative, and personal breakthrough for choreographer Maria” (Kristian Larsen) and fresh from a season at The Body Festival in Christchurch, Carnival Hound returns to Wellington after its initial acclaimed season at The Print Factory.
