"Cabaret" is a world of Sally Bowles, a young English nightclub singer in the seedy swirl of Berlin on the eve of the Nazi takeover. It's funny, bittersweet, entertaining, confronting, soft, gut-wrenching stuff that lifts (and drops) your heart as the mood swings in time to the music and lyrics of John Kander and Fred Ebb, who wrote the musical Chicago.
Director Duncan Whiting and Choreographer Jeannie Mark with musical direction by Con O'Brien lead a talented cast headed by Jacinta Nott as Sally Bowles and Gordon Ritchie as the Emcee, will take you to the Berlin of the 1930s.
