Come along to the Coloniual Cottage Museum for a discussion on the marvels of modern medicine. Dr Rosemary Beresford from Otago University will look at 19th century pharmaceuticals - including a discussion about Mother Aubert from the Whanganui River who manufactured plant-based remedies. Then Dr Susan Heydon from Otago University will discuss modern pharmaceuticals, with a particular focus on drugs that people have in their home.
