Matiu Te Huki has been performing in bands around NZ for twenty years collaborating with artists such as Tiki Tane, Anika Moa, DLT and more. He is know for his amazing vocal skills and power, his ability to connect to, hold and lift a crowd. Matiu was the founding member of popular roots band Homefire Burning and is a current member of bands Basscamp, and My Golden Soul. The messages in his music are positive, uplifting, inspiring and motivating with the sounds of soulful roots, dub funk and hip hop.
