GZA/Genius of the Wu-Tang Clan

The Wu-Tang Clan's GZA/The Genius comes to New Zealand, for one Wellington show only.

GZA is a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, and has continued to appear on his fellow clan members' solo projects, and has always maintained his own incredibly successful solo career. Steve Huey of Allmusic has called him "one of the best lyricists of the 1990s", while the editors of About.com ranked him #17 on their list of the Top 50 MCs of Our Time, making him the highest-ranking Wu-Tang Clan member on the list (ahead of Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon).

GZA is about to release his 7th solo album, titled Liquid Swords 2: The Return of the Shadowboxer... and will be playing tracks from all his albums including his solo hits, and all the Wu-Tang Clan classics at this one-off Wellington performance.
