The makers of award-winner Ruby Tuesday return to Wellington with their second black comedy. Clint's got wandering hands, Karen's a pickpocket and Nina's about to ride back home on her whale; come visit Nana at Shady Meadows Retirement Home.
"Often a show will provide you with two or three beautiful moments that stick in your mind long after the lights have gone up; Chalk, however, has moments like this in nearly every scene and it is the sum total of these small touches that make the show wonderful to watch and thoroughly engrossing." - Keziah Warner for Theatreview.
Nominated for Best Theatre, Auckland Fringe 2011.
Written and acted by Isla Adamson (The Idea of America, Ruby Tuesday, Winner- Standout Performer, Wellington Fringe 2010) and Josephine Stewart-Tewhiu (Ruby Tuesday, Winner- Best Performance in Theatre, Auckland Fringe 2011) - both named 'Ones to Watch', The New Zealand Herald, 2009.
Directed by Abigail Greenwood (Outrageous Fortune, Piece of My Heart, co-creator of The Height of the Eiffel Tower).
