This dynamic exhibition showcases the art of 15 recipients of the Kate Gray Memorial Trust Scholarship, established in 1992. This Federal Gallery exhibition includes photography, printmaking, painting, light installation and mixed media work, and is supported by artwork by 20 invited artists. On exhibition is work from glass artists, ceramicists, drawing, painters, photographers and printmakers. Most work will be for sale, with some or all of each sale dedicated to the Trust to enhance new initiatives for supporting Maori Art students.

Recipients of the Trust:
Simonne Baillie, Toni Beard, Margie Brown, Lydia Davis-Pou, Vanessa Edwards, Robert Emery, Cecelia Kumeroa, Hemi McGregor, Jo Ockey, Tineke Paurini, Kura Puke, Damian Rangiwananga, Bob Renata, Gina Ropiha, Maiangi Waitai.

The recipients of the Kate Gray Memorial Trust Scholarship were all students at the Quay School of the Arts at Whanganui Polytechnic (now Whanganui UCOL). They're now living in towns and cities throughout New Zealand and Australia, working in a number of fields, but predominantly as artists and art educators.
