2011 ITF Taekwon-Do National Championships

New Zealand's best Taekwon-Do practitioners compete in multiple separate events in a bid to become the NZ champion for 2011 in their divisions.

While competition is just one aspect of Taekwon-Do, many agree there is no better measure of mental and physical mastery than competing against the best. Finals afternoon on Sunday 14th from 12:00pm-4:30pm will no doubt be spectacular for spectators and competitors alike.

Attending this event will be an excellent introduction to Taekwon-Do as a sport, but will also highlight the self-defence and fitness aspects which may also be of interest to you. We will have representatives from clubs from around the country who will be more than happy to talk to you about which clubs are closest to you.

As a country, New Zealand recently placed 1st in the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships, with huge performances on an individual and team level, and many of these current world champions will be defending their position against local talent over the weekend, making for excellent viewing.
