Paul Ubana Jones - Blue Bubble Taxis Blues Festival Waiheke

Paul Ubana Jones is set to amaze blues festival goers this August after being announced as the act for the second special show.

Paul Ubana Jones is widely known in the international arena for his soulful voice, sprightly guitar agility and enthusiasm. Paul has opened for the likes of Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and has toured with Taj Mahal, Crowded House, and many more. He has wowed the world by performing at the Dublin Blues Festival, Vancouver Folk Festival, Comox Festival, and an array of other events throughout countries including Switzerland, Germany, France and Spain.

The two festival special shows - Paul Ubana Jones and The Lazy Boyz Blues Brothers Tribute Show will run back-to-back so that festival goers who have purchased an All Venues All Shows pass can experience both shows during the festival.

Back for the third year running, Blue Bubble Taxis Blues Festival Waiheke Island 2011 is packed with two days of live music at five of the island's top venues. The vibe will be strong blues influence in intimate environments where the audience can get up close and personal with the bands.
